‘Really appreciated Mark looking at my bike on Saturday. I can now ride and brake without ‘squeeking’!
It’s a lot more comfortable to ride now he’s altered the seat (which I didn’t even realize was too low for me). I highly recommend Mark to give every bike a service..especially if it’s been sat in a garage for a year like mine!!’

This was a very easy fix, I removed the brake blocks, cleaned them up with a bit of abrasive paper, re-fitted them, made sure they were aligned - result, no more squeeks!

Tracey's saddle was positioned too low and the seat post was hitting the swing arm above the damper, this would lead to jarring of the spine and severe backache.  Taking the pleasure away from cycling.
Thanks for sorting my brakes today ready for my big London to Brighton adventure :)

Mark says... Alison's brakes were an easy fix.  Her bike is fitted with V Brakes and after a while, due to cable stretch, one side works harder than the other - this results in the other side dragging on the rim.  A slight adjustment to re-balance the braking effort and everything's as good as new!

Tom brought in 2 well used, vintage bikes.  On first inspection - I looked at both bikes to see which bits would go with which frame, so we could make 1 usable bike.

After a good 'switch around' session and a lot of GT85 we reached a compromise and a resulting rideable bike.

Tom was absolutely delighted and now has transport again.

Pictured here is the end result - Happy cycling Tom!
